Revocation of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke previously given consent at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out until revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time regarding this. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data stored with us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer require your personal data, but you require it for the exercise, defense, or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it is not yet established whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

Cookies

Our websites use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packages and do not damage your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your device when you visit our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services from the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies serve to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are required for the performance of the electronic communication process, the provision of certain functions desired by you (e.g., for the shopping cart function), or the optimization of the website (e.g., cookies for measuring web traffic) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies on an individual basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may restrict the functionality of this website.

Insofar as cookies from third-party companies or for analysis purposes are used, we will inform you separately about this within the scope of this privacy policy and, if applicable, request your consent.

  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not combined with other data sources.

This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free display and optimization of its website-for this purpose, server log files must be collected.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via a contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is required for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively processing inquiries directed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided that it has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer exists (e.g., after the processing of your inquiry has been completed). Mandatory statutory provisions-in particular retention periods-remain unaffected.

Inquiry via Email, Telephone, or Fax

If you contact us via email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data arising therefrom (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of addressing your concern. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in effectively processing the inquiries submitted to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), provided that such consent has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer exists (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

Matomo

This website uses the open-source web analytics service Matomo.

With Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze data about how website visitors use our website. This allows us to determine, among other things, when specific pages are visited and from which region the visitors come. We also collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browsers and operating systems used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).

If appropriate consent has been requested, processing is based exclusively on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TTDSG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

IP Anonymization

We use IP anonymization when analyzing data with Matomo. Your IP address is shortened before analysis so that it can no longer be uniquely assigned to you.

Cookie-Free Analysis

We have configured Matomo so that it does not store cookies in your browser.

8. In-House Services

Handling of Applicant Data

We offer you the opportunity to apply to us (e.g. by email, by post or via an online application form). Below, we inform you about the scope, purpose and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing and use of your data is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other statutory provisions, and that your data will be treated in strict confidence.

Scope and Purpose of Data Collection

If you submit an application to us, we will process the personal data associated with it (e.g. contact and communication details, application documents, notes from job interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary to decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG under German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general initiation of a contract), and - if you have given consent - Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Within our company, your personal data will only be passed on to individuals involved in processing your application.

If the application is successful, the data you submit will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

Data Retention Period

If we are unable to make you a job offer, you reject a job offer, or you withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you submitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months after the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted and physical application documents destroyed. Retention is primarily for evidentiary purposes in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to a threatened or pending legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for further retention no longer exists.

Data may also be retained for longer if you have given appropriate consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Inclusion in the Applicant Pool

If we are unable to make you a job offer, we may offer to include you in our applicant pool. If included, all documents and information from your application will be transferred to the applicant pool so that we can contact you if suitable vacancies arise.

Inclusion in the applicant pool is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving consent is voluntary and is not related to the ongoing application process. The data subject can revoke their consent at any time. In this case, the data will be permanently deleted from the applicant pool, unless there are statutory reasons for retention.

Data from the applicant pool will be permanently deleted no later than two years after consent is given.
